Regular intake of cranberry juice has also been proven beneficial for patients undergoing other treatments in the hospitals as a guard against the urinary tract diseases.\u00a0However,\u00a0cranberry juice\u00a0is not effective in treating UTIs once you have the infection, and is only a preventative measure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Antitumor Effects:<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b>The\u00a0anti-tumor\u00a0efficacy offered by cranberry juice is attributed to the presence of polyphenolic compounds within the fruit.\u00a0Studies\u00a0have suggested that regular consumption of cranberry juice inhibits the development and spread of lung,\u00a0breast, colon, prostate and other cancerous tumors.
